At Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD, our aim is to:
Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD warrants its manufactured goods to the original purchaser for a period of five (5) years.
Our warranty covers materials and workmanship in domestic applications only.
Any product manufactured by Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD from our standard range that fails within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced with a comparable product from the current range, provided the defective product has been maintained under the company guidelines.
Liability of claims is limited to the repair or exchange of the product only and excludes reimbursement for any value added work or secondary installation costs.
Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD reserves the right to repair or replace products at our discretion.
Goods considered for warranty must be returned to Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD premises for appraisal for any claims made.
Although Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD use only the best available natural & man made raw materials, our products are "hand finished" and many display slight surface imperfections. This is not considered a fault.
Guidelines in the assessment of perceived faults, defects, blemishes, natural grain, colour etc. can be found in the Housing Industry Association's (H.I.A) "Guide to Kitchen & Bathroom Construction" - edition 2 (2.0 cabinet doors & 5.0 bench tops)
Assessment can be based on viewing and visibly detecting the questioned defect internally at a minimum distance of 1500mm (1.5M) from the surface in normal daylight conditions. If the product from our current range does not meet the H.I.A standard it will be repaired or replaced at no additional charge.
Although Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD handles all materials with care, we will only offer a warranty on design and sizing specifications for customer supplied materials. Scratches, chips, dents or failure of the product for customer supplied materials is not considered a fault and is solely the responsibility of the customer.
Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD operates & trades under our own conditions of trade and does not and will not enter into any contract or agreement where Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD can be fined or penalised for production times or any on-costs of any kind. Acceptance of a Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD quote or order confirmation is immediate acceptance that the customer will trade under Design Joinery & Doors PTY LTD's terms of trade only.
Non-account customers are required to pay a deposit on commencement of their order & a balance upon completion of order. Further details for deposit & balance amounts will be provided to you within the body of your quote or order confirmation.
Collection of goods will not be approved until balance of invoice amount has been finalised. Title of goods does not transfer to the customer until the invoiced amount has been paid in full.
